One day like this ...

Chris and I have just spent a most fantastic weekend in the Lake District learning how to navigate and survive with Jon. Still trying to process all the ground we covered, but it was a completely unbelievable weekend:

Lots of walking, some in moonlight, some in rain, some in drizzle, some in low cloud ... mostly in rain though. Brilliant, hard work. It made the moonlit paddle down the length of Conniston Water to camp on Peel Island (Wildcat Island) all the more special.
